Grandma and Grandpa's July 2010!

Max was a champ, as usual flying up with me to see G&G Glen. We got an upgrade on the way up and sat up front. We lucked out and sat next to a dad of 5, who was very sweet and understanding. Then again, Max didn't yell or cry once, so it was easy to be nice to him! We had a fantastic weekend with the grandparents, Max slept well and stayed on schedule and generally charmed everyone. After a wonderful visit, including the big cat sanctuary, I flew home with a very tired baby. All in all, a terrific visit!

Max's First Birthday

We enjoyed a terrific party with tons of family and friends celebrating Max's first birthday. As usual everyone was way too generous and Max got a huge haul. We didn't even unpack everything and plan to give him a new toy or two the next couple months.
We can't thank everyone enough for their generosity both of gifts and time. We are blessed!

The Max is now officially one year old.

Easter 2010

One thing I'll always remember about Easter is in 2009 it's the day Max came home. That year it was just a Sunday to me, the day my first baby came home, no need for church or a big meal or anything else. I just wanted to spend the afternoon in my own house with my new little family. Well this year, we had an almost-1 year old! We enjoyed church then took Max home for his nap. Then we went over the big house to enjoy Grandpa's delicious signature steaks off the grill. Max was very dapper in his suit and tie. Unfortunately I only got a few shots before my camera died!

I'm 11 months old!

The Max is almost celebrating his birthday, amazingly. He just keeps getting better and better and we adore him!!

Forgot to post the snow

So we had a record 12 1/2 inches of snow a few weeks ago. It was pretty awesome. Reminded me of the very good old days in NY of crowding around the tv as a kiddo PRAYING to see Hawkins Path was closed for the day! Good times.

He loves movies just like Mom! Well, Dad too. He's doing MUCH better after a cold, ear infection, and more bronchialitis. The nebulizer, some antibiotics and lots of TLC this weekend and he's doing much better. He was perusing our movie collection for somethingn to watch and settled on an old favorite and a MUCH better SuperBowl!
