What is this blogging thing??

Welcome to our Blog! We decided to start a Blog at the urging of a couple of my pals who recently had babies - "The families love it!" they said. Well I hope you love it. If nothing else, it's a good spot to check out our latest photos and happenings.

So far my pregnancy has been blessedly pretty uneventful. No morning sickness to speak of, and only minor cravings ( I love brinner! It's breakfast, but for dinner!). I'm just now starting to see a baby belly so yes, I will post pictures when I have some, but there's really not much to see yet. Up til now it could have more accurately been described as beer gut, but it's definitely not that anymore! For those of you who know me well, no, it hasn't been that tough to give up drinking! Caffeine, now that has been tougher. I rarely miss my one-a-day there. And yes, I will continue to love my Big Dog whole bunches even after the baby comes.

That brings you up to speed on the pregnancy news. Other than that, not much else going on with us. As it is mid November, we're both deep in football season and both James' Longhorns and Christine's Giants notched wins this weekend, Hooray! Not to jinx them, but James has already booked our trip to Miami in early January (yes, I should be able to travel then - barely) for the national championship.

In Bruce news, the Big Dog recently passed his Canine Good Citizen test, on his way to hopefully becoming a certified therapy dog. All this is in the name of helping others, it has nothing to do with the little sash they give me that lets him into restaurants and onto planes!!
