Kennel Cough... Part Deux

Well Max managed to pick up another virus last week, he woke up Saturday with a full blown cold again. So it's back to steambaths and aspirators. Actually the steam is great for both of us, since I still have the remnants of his first cold. But he's sleeping well again, so that's a plus. We did take him to the doc Saturday morning just to be sure it wasn't some new strain, but his ears and lungs were once again clear. He tipped the scales at 15 lbs. 5 oz.!

This weekend marks the first time we'll leave Max for the night. He'll be staying with Grandma and Grandpa Parker while Mom and Dad head to Stuart FL for my high school reunion. While I look forward to the break and seeing all my old friends, I know I will miss that boy something fierce. Luckily I know he'll be in great hands, but it'll still be hard. More pictures to come!

Swimming and Things

Max swam for the first - and second! - time this weekend. He did great, seemed to like it and didn't cry or fuss. Such a cutie. And here are a few smiley pictures too. Now that he's mastered smiling he seems to do it all the time. And then there's Bruce. As you can see, he's clearly very stressed out these days. He really has it rough.

I'm 12 weeks old!

Here's Max just this morning, having some fun with Dad while Mom got to sleep in. Such a sweetie. His cold is much better but he's still not quite 100%. But at least he's sleeping thru the night again. Today we're going to Grandma and Grandpa's for Max's first time in the pool, so watch for that update. Maybe more importantly, Bruce gets to go too, but he doesn't know it yet. He LOVES to swim of course, and he deserves it, he's been a great dog through all these changes!
